It is not often I feel like a pop star - unless you count Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding after an especially heavy night - but, sitting at the bow of a 45ft yacht, gliding through turquoise-blue water as we headed toward a distant island, I could finally empathise with Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon, as he sang: "Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand."
